This ministry was formed in August, 1965, as a nonprofit educational ministry to serve Christian parents in educating their children in a consistently Biblical world and life view. Both the philosophy of education and the commitment to scholarship would be inspired by Reformed theology as summarized in the Westminster Standards. The relevence of this world view in the establishment of America's Christian heritage will ever be a primary focus of this ministry in its schools, and all its curricula, seminars, and publications.
The population that we serve are Christian parents and children who enroll in our schools as families in covenant relationship with God and with us. The growth in Christian self-government and character is as vital as math fact mastery and learning to read. Students must be educated in the principles of self and civil government which preserve liberty for the individual and the nation.
This ministry is unique in that it serves the three God-ordained institutions: the family, the church, and the civil government. It serves the Christian family by educating the whole child Biblically. It serves the church by recruiting local churches to contribute spiritual resources to the school. Relationships are built with area pastors. The education program supports the civil government by educating the child to take their civic place in a Christian Constitutional Republic.
